Mark is a Fellow Chartered Accountant a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) who commenced his career in the mid-1980s with KPMG; firstly with their office in Wellington NZ and then in Melbourne VIC.  Mark then focused on commercial accounting roles, including with BHP, Unisys, NCR and Westpac.

He has significant experience with processes/procedures, financial reporting (including to stakeholders) and compliance (e.g. Sarbannes Oxley, AML/CTF).  Mark gained his first Financial Controller role in 1995 and he has been in senior roles since.

Mark has also been appointed as General Manager/CEO twice to two significant primary producers, one regional and one domestic.

Since 2007, Mark has been primarily working in Financial Services, including as a Responsible Manager and as Compliance Officer.  Mark has also served as a Director of AFSL holding company’s- primarily in property and mortgage funds.
